Wherever you go, there you are. I just love that one!
I was raised around a lot of art on my Mother's side and music on my Father's side. My love of those things continue on in my marriage and in my life.
I graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree concentrating in Fashion Design, and proceeded to work in that industry for 15 years. Patternmaker, production manager, fashion shows, instructor and hand embellished custom wedding gowns.
After taking an oil painting class with Roberto Quintana, I was introduced to painting and that was it. Fortunate to work with Mark Wood at the Fine Artist Factory in Pasadena which introduced me into the world of art through the classes, shows, studio members and art clubs that came through.
So, here I am now ... and it is much better....

Heidi - what wonderful gifts created by paint brush and my very good friend. The softness mixed with vibrant color touch the soul and take me back to a simpler time - whenever that might have existed. Keep up the wonderful work, they are amazing.

Wow! I didn't realize how prolific your art was. What I did know after I saw some of your paintings, was what a wonderful artist you are! The website is also beautifully done and the pictures look like they are lit from within. Kind of like you.
